ocg's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Going on a guava hunt Well, off to Coos Bay tonight, or, more accurately, Eugene tonight and Coos Bay in the morning. We've got some catching up to do with friends in Eugene, and my brother's birthday is Sunday, but we're going to pre-func it up on Saturday night. It will be a chance for my mom to meet Aurora, since last time I was there she asked, "Did you bring your dog?" When I replied, "No, mom, she's in heat and I didn't want to deal with that in the car," she said, "Huummmph. Well, I'd rather see her than you." That's usually the reaction that I get when I go down there without the babboo. You'd think I'd learn: they'd trade me in on my husband in a heartbeat. And now? The dog is in 2nd place. I've had a really odd week. I've just been realizing a lot of things about myself, some good, some not so good, and some that feel good, but that I feel guilty about feeling good about. And that ends, "El día de Oraciones Enigmáticas" for this entry. Funny, that translates into, "The Day of Cryptic Prayers". It was supposed to be 'sentences', not prayers. What's the universe telling me? Well, preeties, take care. 11:42 a.m. - 2005-06-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
