ocg's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New computer! So you know how we went through all of the rigamorole with the computer, with the losing of everything, and the ensuing issues with the Internet On/Off button? (Don't get me started, don't even get me started) At any rate, so it turns out we didn't lose everything, which was a relief, to say the least. But we did still have a buttload of issues with spyware, etc. So, last night, we went and bought a new computer. That's right, my preeeties, a brand new computer. And wireless router. And video card. And don't ask me to 'splain about the specifics or anything, because it all just melts into a vague "Wah-wah-wah" like the Peanuts parents when they get into the ram and bigamytes and whatever. Just know this: It's really fast, and doesn't stutter when I try to stream stuff. We also purchased, on an unrelated note, a futon for our guest room. It's a nice one, and we got a deal on it, and it's queen sized. With a purple cover. Did I mention that there is a *gag* teal green small chest of drawers in the same room with it? Because walking into the office/ guest room now? Totally 1991. If there was a sheer sleeved shirt hanging in the closet from Jay Jabobs or Maurice's, I could charge admission. So this is Babboo's weekend on, and he is currently asleep. I have so much to get done this weekend! Eegads! But now that we have a fully functional, fast computer, maybe, just maybe I'll do more updating. Bien, non?
