Just wanted to share a little website that brings me pleasure... it is Bonsai Potato at http://www.bonsaipotato.com/. The boy and I are currently each working on our own bonsai potatoes. It started out unintentionally enough, when we went to have baked potatoes one night and he discovered that a couple of the potatoes had began their trek to bonsai potato-esqueness without prompting. What more perfect potatoes to choose than these? After all, the website states, "Remember, you are not controlling the potato, you are merely acting as a means for the potato to accomplish its own artistic destiny. A true Bonsai Potato artist will learn to recognize and honor the intentions of the potato."
